I received an email today asking what are my go-to knives, well its Cutco brand.  They were a gift from my Father over 20+ years ago and they are still as sharp as the day I got them.  They can go in the dishwasher and they have a lifetime guarantee.   I have the set in the photo, well actually I have more than fits in the holder, I have bought a few more to add to what my Dad gave me.

This is how it works;

I received a message through Facebook asking what, or rather who's cocktail shaker I use.  they liked the one on my header for this page.  Well actually I have never bought one, all the ones I have were gifts.  My favorite one was the large glass one that was given to me by a good friend, but it broke when I was shaking a Martini.  The one I use now use every day is from William Sonoma, it is pictured here.

I do own about 8 different shakers, a few glass ones which will only be used to stir on shake anything.

I know this really has nothing to do with cooking, but I love mine, it's great in taking a collection of beers to an event or party.
