I started my cooking blog about 15 plus years ago, Variations on Cooking, as an easy way to share recipes with friends and family. I love to cook, trying new ingredients, techniques, and gadgets. Often when dining out, I will end up at some point during the evening in the kitchen of the restaurant we are at being shown how to make the dish I just enjoyed.
